What REALLY works in your studio?
Most teachers miss THIS!

What REALLY works in your studio?
Hey!
Let’s get real for a minute.
You’re teaching your heart out. Running from class to class.
Juggling rehearsals, recitals, teaand the never-ending parent questions...
But have you ever stopped and asked:
👉 Is all of this actually working?
👉 What’s truly making an impact, and what’s just noise?
Here’s a concept I swear by: The 80/20 Rule.
(AKA the Pareto Principle, if you want to sound fancy.)
💡 80% of your results come from 20% of your efforts.
I learned this the hard way back when I ran my studio, Byfield Dance Experience.
Out of all the classes we offered every week… Only a few were consistently packed. Those few brought in the most energy, the most engagement, and yep – the most revenue.
The rest?
Draining. Half full. No spark.
So I made some bold changes. I cut what wasn’t working. I doubled down on what was.
And guess what? In just 3 months, I saw a noticeable shift in energy and income.
💥 That’s the power of 80/20. 💥💥
If you didn’t know!
If you’re ready to simplify and amplify what’s working, my Dance Teacher Playbook gives you exact steps I took to build Toronto’s favourite adult studio and passionate dance community.

Here’s your challenge this week:
✅ What 20% of your efforts are really moving the needle?
✅ What classes, systems, or strategies are no longer serving you or your dancers?
✅ Where are you wasting energy on things that just aren’t it anymore?
You don’t have to burn it all down!
But you do have to be brave enough to shift the focus.
Because whether it’s curriculum, schedules, or staff…
Less, done with intention, leads to more.
Quick recap for dancers too (feel free to share this in class!):
🎯 Want to be on Broadway? Then focus on the styles, the skills, and the training that actually help you get there.
Not every class is a must. Not every combo counts. Train smarter, not just harder.
That’s your insider tip for the week.
