STOP Doing Everything Yourself, Revisited
/Remember last year when I told you to stop doing everything yourself? Here’s a quick reality check: nothing’s changed unless YOU make a conscious reset.
Teachers are STILL burnt out. Students are STILL hesitant. Confidence is STILL fragile. But the right system and a little outside perspective can change everything.
This year, don’t just tell yourself you’ll “do better.” Build structures that actually let you lead, teach, and coach with clarity. You get lots of it in this newsletter every month, literally FOR FREE.
But I understand it’s hard to apply free advice on your own. With that being said…
The Game Changer You Didn’t Know Your Team Needed

I’m kicking off 2026 by helping teachers and teams stop spinning their wheels before competitions. There’s only so much “stretch your elbows” I can tell you! Compete With Confidence is a live 90-minute Zoom session where you’ll get actionable insights you can implement NOW:
• Clean routines and execute combos under pressure
• Musicality that judges actually notice
• Expressiveness and storytelling
• Backstage energy management for your dancers
• Mental focus, stage presence, and team communication
• Post-performance debrief systems
It’s not about dance. It’s my real-life adjudicator feedback about the mental toughness, focus and clarity you, your fellow teachers, and your dance team need to stand out and heck, maybe even win finally.
Learn the winning strategies champions use.
First five studios to book get a free follow-up session worth $500. The goal isn’t more work. It’s more relief, clarity, and confidence for you and your team.
Choreographing Solos? Here’s How To Stand Out

Sometimes you just need someone to look at your work from outside the frame. Solo Sessions are exactly that. It’s like a dramaturg in a theatre company. They see the patterns you can’t. They don’t change your voice, they sharpen it.
It’s minimal. Practical. Immediately useful. And it’s a reminder: you don’t have to see everything yourself to get it right. Reply right now if you need an outside eye BEFORE your soloists hit the stage.

The 1-2-3 Power Rehearsal
Mark a combo or segment at half speed, no music.
Ask the dancers to freeze and silently note the first thing they think needs improvement.
You give one clear correction (just ONE), then run the segment with music immediately.
This builds focus, self-assessment, and faster improvement. You’ll notice results instantly. No theory, no fluff, just better dancing.
